By applying to the Experience Liberia Internship and Volunteer Program, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:
1. Eligibility
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
- All information provided in the application form must be accurate and complete. Submission of false or misleading information may lead to disqualification from the program or termination if already selected.
2. Application Process
- Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance into the program. Applications will be reviewed, and successful applicants will be notified.
- All required documents (e.g., cover letter, CV/resume) must be submitted in the specified formats (.pdf, .doc, .docx).
- By submitting your application, you agree to the storage and handling of your personal data in accordance with our privacy policy.
3. Program Commitment
- Participants must commit to the agreed start and end dates. Any changes to these dates must be approved in writing by program coordinators.
- Participants are expected to be actively involved in all scheduled program activities and meetings.
- Professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and respectful behavior are required at all times.
4. Code of Conduct
- Participants are required to follow all local laws and regulations while in Liberia.
- Any behavior that is deemed disrespectful, discriminatory, or harmful to others will result in immediate termination from the program.
- Participants must comply with all guidelines set by Experience Liberia, including health and safety protocols.
5. Health and Safety
- Participants must ensure they are in good health before starting the program and must notify the program coordinators of any medical conditions or special needs.
- The program will take reasonable measures to safeguard participants’ health and well-being, including providing access to necessary health and safety resources during their stay.
- Participants must follow all safety instructions and protocols provided by Experience Liberia.
6. Fees and Expenses
- Unless otherwise stated, participants are responsible for covering personal expenses such as travel, accommodation, meals, and insurance.
- Program fees (if applicable) must be paid in full before the start of the program. Failure to make timely payment may result in the forfeiture of your spot.
- Participants are encouraged to budget accordingly to cover personal expenses throughout their participation.
7. Cancellation and Withdrawal
- Experience Liberia reserves the right to cancel or modify the program due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will be notified as early as possible.
- Participants who wish to withdraw from the program must provide written notice at least 30 days in advance. No refunds will be provided for program fees once the program has begun.
8. Liability
- Experience Liberia and its affiliates are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained during the program. However, we are committed to your safety and well-being throughout your stay.
- The program will implement necessary safety measures and provide support to ensure you are protected during your participation.
- Participants are advised to obtain travel and health insurance to cover any potential risks. Experience Liberia will make every effort to ensure participants are informed and protected during their stay.
9. Use of Personal Data
- By submitting your application, you consent to the collection, storage, and processing of your personal data for the purposes of administering the program.
- Experience Liberia will not share your personal data with third parties without your explicit consent unless required by law.
10. Intellectual Property
- Any content, materials, or projects created by participants during the program may be used by Experience Liberia for promotional, educational, or other purposes. Proper credit will be given to participants where applicable.
- Participants agree to the use of their photos, videos, and testimonials for program promotion and reporting purposes.
11. Termination
- Experience Liberia reserves the right to terminate a participant’s involvement in the program at any time if they fail to adhere to these terms and conditions or if their behavior is deemed detrimental to the program or its stakeholders.
